Dear Diary.

I hate you.
Hate may be a strong word, but I hate the fact that you show up on my front page with an entry over a year old.
It kinda made it seem like I'm in Italy all the time (which I'm not). So here we go, first journal update in a year(+).

I'm now the proud owner of a Pentax K10d.
I was really happy when I got it, because now I had a camera that was soo much better then all the ones my friends had. Happiness isn't long-lasting I've discovered.
One month later, all my friends had cameras that were either just as good, or even better than mine.

I just feel so lucky most of them have no sense of beautiful photography, they just kinda waste their expensive camera equipment on taking drunk pictures with their friends or off-focus pictures of the family dog.
(Yes I'm aware this sounds very bitter, but I'm in fact a very bitter person, it's genetical and I can't change it)

Anyway, with my new camera I have more control of my pictures, I can actually get the colours I want, and I'm learning fast.
I would probably be satisfied with my pictures unless I'd joined this horrible site. Whatever I do, someone else does it better, which really really sucks.
The thing 'bout this really really sucky thing is that it motivates me to do better, and if I didn't have anything to compare against I wouldn evolve at all. It's like having a pokemon and not let it battle.

So, Deviantart is another one of those things that fall into the love/hate cathegory, along with 80's music and bad anime.
